# Parse Light

> Changelog for the Parse Light base model version in Extend.

Our cost-effective parsing engine (1/4th the cost of Performance). Much cheaper and typically faster than Performance while maintaining solid accuracy. Not recommended for use cases with difficult form regions, tables with complex layouts, or multilingual documents (outside of germanic and latin-based languages).
