Splitter upgrades: new base versions and multimodal option
New Splitter base versions roll out new foundation models and revamped large-document processing, for a significant jump in speed and a modest improvement in accuracy:
- Performance 1.5.0-beta — improved large-document accuracy and speed.
- Light 1.3.0 — significantly improved large-document speed and accuracy.
For pages that require visual classification — for example, detecting the presence of a particular kind of stamp — you can now enable an advanced multimodal option to improve splitting accuracy on those use cases.
