We support the following file types:

Microsoft Excel	`.xls`, `.xlsx`, `.xltm`, `.xltx`, `.ods`
Microsoft Word	`.docx`, `.doc`, `.wpd`, `.dotx`, `.odt`
Microsoft Powerpoint	`.pptx`, `.ppt`, `.ppm`
CSV files	`.csv`
Text files	`.txt`, `.html`, `.xml`, `.rtf`, `.lis`, `.md`
Email files	`.eml`
Other formats	`.pcx`

If you need to support a file type that is not listed here, please reach out to the Extend team.

Verify analyzes the original submitted bytes and accepts only PDF, JPEG, and PNG files. Other types fail with FILE_TYPE_NOT_SUPPORTED.

Password-protected PDFs are supported. See Password-Protected Files for how to provide the password in your request.
